Kat's Current Music Favorites

Aloha! I'm sorry I haven't written for over a month. I give you permission to yell at me.......

Now that that's out of the way I'm going to tell you some of the songs that I have been loving recently! Btw this is something that I want to do once in awhile so I don't know about you, but I think I need a snazzy name for these posts... What should I call them? Kat's Picks? Kat's Favs? Kat's Tunes? Hmmmmmmm..... Let me know in the comments what you think I should name them!
Anyways here are some of my recent music favorites (Not in order of importance).

1. The Nights by Avicii
This song is just really fun to dance around in your room to (DO NOT try to tell me that you don't dance in your room because we all know you do).

2. How You Get The Girl by Taylor Swift
Can I just say that I LOOOVE 1989. It's such a good album and this song is one of my favorites from it.

3. Hey There Delilah by Plain White T's
WOAH THROWBACK! This song is just a classic. What more can I say?

4. Heartache On The Big Screen by 5 Seconds Of Summer
I love this song because it sounds quite punkish which kind of separates it from the usual "cookie cutter pop star stuff" (If you understand that reference then I love you.)

5. A Little Too Much by Shawn Mendes
This song is sooo good (Obviously, Kat.) But seriously if you haven't heard it yet, go check it out because it's wicked good.

Well that's all for now! I hope you enjoyed this and don't forget to let me know what I should name these types of posts!

I challenge you to look great and feel amazing!!!

Hello Everyone!

Jaz here. I thought I would do a post about how to live gluten, dairy, and sugar free. The ups and downs, the easy parts ( and hard parts), the good sides and the bad.

First of All, I am a DAIRY, GLUTEN, SUGAR free girl, and I am NEVER going back.

It all started one hot summer day....

Have you ever had that meltdown moment where you feel like "I just can't control what I eat. What am I going to do?"

or "I always feel so crumby. Is this normal?"

I reached a point where I just sat down and cried. I was overweight, had acne taking over my face, and always, always, felt gross. I was talking to my Mom (sobbing ) and she had the Brilliant Idea to do a cleanse. Seeing no other option, I agreed. I convinced myself that even though i hadn't succeeded in the past I WOULD succeed and reach my weight and health goals. I am so very happy to declare that It has been over 6 months since I broke down and now I am almost acne free, I feel GREAT, and I am a perfect weight for who I am. Does it sound good?

I challenge you to a cleanse. I will walk you through it. Take one step at a time.

Why don't we begin with the Monster itself.

SUGAR

Sugar is addicting. It kills your immune system, it slows down your metabolism, and messes with your body. It is SO much easier to lose weight and feel great when you are not eating sugar. Unfortunately, its the hardest to give up. My advice to you is to just DO IT! Just go for it! This is not in any way to say you cannot be healthy when you are eating sugar ( Plenty of my friends get away with it just fine) but if your in my boat thinking you've tried everything and just wanting something! Anything! to work? Please consider accepting my challenge. It changed my life and it could change yours.

Month one of this 5 month challenge:

Week one :

What to do: Start out slow, Take out desserts and candy the first week. Replace it with fruit, however,Try not to exceed 4 servings of fruit.( I will elaborate on the fruit issue in another post). Also eliminate any soda you may be drinking. Drink water instead.

notes :First, make sure you have a sugar free, all natural, Organic, sugar substitute in the house. I wouldn't suggest using it allot because it could keep your cravings alive, but sometimes you may need it.

Week Two:

Continue on the steps above reading food labels for how much sugar is in what you're eating.

Week Three :

What to do:Cut all processed sugar. Plain and simple. After the first two weeks of zero sugar you might fair well allowing yourself 5 grams a day, but for the beginning eliminate it all together.

Notes:
You might feel withdrawals, cravings, and toxic hunger. Sugar withdrawals can be rather dramatic. You may feel headaches, stomach aches, or fatigue. Don't give up. Know that when you get to the other side( if your anything like me) You will feel so much better.

Week four:

Continue the steps above. You will probably arrive on the other side of the withdrawal journey this week.

So here is your first month ( if you decide to take up my challenge).

Let me know how it goes, and comment with any questions or concerns you have. I will only continue with this series on how to live Gluten, Dairy, and Sugar free if ya'll want me to! LMK!!!!

YOU CAN DO IT!
