THRIFT SHOPPPPPPINGGGG = LOVE

okay I know some girls be like "you look like a thrift shop threw up on you." and then they do that hair flip and show off their $200 pair of pants. But trust me if you know how to thrift shop you will look cute, stylish, and your budget won't be broken in two.

Tip numero uno: Try things on!!!!!! Don't Buy it before you Try it! That's my thrift shopping motto :)

You see it on the rack :WOW THAT IS SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!! AND ITS MY SIZE!
You snatch it off the rack and rush to the casheir.

This is a no no. Buying clothes without knowing if the color is good on you, if the tailoring fits you (all us girls are different), and whether it is comfortable, is a common way people waste their money. NO. Try it on!!!! Girl!! TRY IT ON! Better yet, try and a get a second opinion! What's the use of having a closet bursting with clothes and still having nothing to wear?

Tip number two: Know what colors look good on you.
 Are you most complimented by warm browns and reds? Does wearing pastels accentuate your eyes and complexion? Are icy blues and pinks your thang???

The wrong colors can make you look sick, heavier than you are, and make you washed out. But the right colors slim you down and highlight the beautiful things about you. You look healthier and more vibrant.

Number three: When you are buying clothes in the thrift store make sure they match your style and that they MATCH EACHOTHER.This one is self explanatory. Don't get clothes you can't wear together or else you'll be stuck with half an outfit here and half an outfit there.

Number 4: Keep your eyes out for your brands. You know what I mean by "your" right?
Maybe your an American Eagle kind of gal? or maybe you're all into Aeropastle? Thrift stores often have the brands you love for cheap. This is a way you can fit in with the trends and not murder you piggy bank.


Okay fifth (and last) tip: Going in, know what you want.

Make a list of things you are sure you want.

If you go in there like "Imma get some clothes." You might end up with a bunch of mismatched items that you don't really truly love. making a plan will save you time and money.
